MODE OF EXAMINATION :

There will be two terms for the academic session. One periodic test will be held before each term.

For all classes
1st Periodic Test July (20 marks)
1st Terminal Exam September (80 marks)
2nd Periodic Test December (20 marks)
2nd Terminal Exam February (80 marks)


For all classes from Std - I to X :

1st Term from April to September.
2nd Term from October to March.
In each term, there will be one Formative Assessments and the term ending examination as Half Yearly & Annual.
1st Term :
Pre-Mid Term Test in July.
Half Yearly Exam in September.
2nd Term :
Post Mid Term Test in December.
Annual Exam in 1st week of March.

Each Unit Test will be of 20 marks (10 marks for written and 5 marks for C.W & H.W. + 5 marks for activity).

The weightage in the examinations will be as follows:
1st Term - 20 + 80
2nd Term - 20 + 80

In Class IX & X out of three tests including the Half yearly two best marks will be taken in each subject.
For Class X, there will be a work test, from the entire syllabus, in the month of January.
Nursery and K.G. classes will have two examinations in a year-Half Yearly in September and Annual Examination in March. In between they will have class tests as practice tests.



Pass Criteria for Promotion :

a. A student has to secure a minimum pass grade ‘D’ in each subject (i.e.-33%).

b. A student must have 75% attendance in the whole academic session including attendance in the previous school, if the student has been admitted on transfer.

c. Student having less than 75% attendance will not be allowed to sit in the year ending examination i.e., SA II.

d. If a student remains absent in the written test of any unit, he / she will be marked ‘Absent’ for that, no retest will be allowed for the same.

e. All the above rules are applicable for Class X also. Only Annual of Class X will be Board based which will be conducted by CBSE.
